There are a lot of notable titles on Xbox Game Pass, however today, among the very visible games in recent memory is landing on the ceremony.
Anyone that has been following gambling news over the past couple of years is very likely to be quite knowledgeable about Fallout 76. Originally announced in May 2018, Fallout 76 was pitched as a multiplayer game set in the Fallout universe — or, more specifically, at a post-apocalyptic Appalachia. The game started later this season, and the first response from critics and gamers alike wasn’t terrific.
In reality, it was negative, and some of the things Bethesda did after launch didn’t actually endear anyone to the match. However, through the years, Bethesda was working on enhancing Fallout 76, launching the Wastelanders upgrade, which adds NPCs to the game, earlier this season. Has Bethesda done enough to make the game great? That is for Fallout 76 players to pick, but this launch on Game Pass means that you are able to scope out the problem for yourself without first dropping $40 on this game.
Joining Fallout 76 on Game Pass now is CrossCode, an indie game that’s received a lot of love on Steam through recent years. Last week, Microsoft kicked off the month by incorporating Out of the Park Baseball 21 and Soulcalibur VI to Game Pass Too.
CrossCode and Soulcalibur VI are equally exclusives into the console version of Xbox Game Pass, while Out of the Park Baseball 21 is exclusive to the PC version; just Fallout 76 can be found on either the console and PC versions of the game. It’ll be interesting to determine if Fallout 76 enjoys a major spike in participant numbers because of this Xbox Game Pass launching, particularly now that the Wastelanders update is offered in the game.
